We met Casey Kenley with Team Film at our first Startup Ladies lunch last February. It wasn’t long before we realized the synergies between our two companies and knew we had to do an event together. The weekend of Aug. 22-23 DNK Presents hosted our largest backpacking adventure to date in Deam Wilderness – part of Hoosier National Forest. The best part of the weekend besides guiding 17 amazing, bad ass ladies in the wild, was that we hiked out of that forest with 17 new friends, learning and getting to know their powerful stories, but may be the absolute best part was that these women are living and doing amazing things right here in Indiana. If it wasn’t for the Startup Ladies we may not have been connected to such an empowering group like Team Film. We are planning more adventures together such as a wild cave trip in November, and many to look out for in 2016.
